Blackburn EDZ BID Structure & Management

The BID is managed through a company limited by guarantee, the Blackburn EDZ BID Company Ltd.
The Company has Directors, representing resident businesses Blackburn Chemicals Ltd, Cherry Tree Machine Tools Ltd, Cobble Blackburn Ltd, Khanjra International, Pets Choice Ltd, Promethean Ltd, and Training 2000. The levy is collected by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Groundwork Pennine Lancashire undertake the role of managing agent for the BID Company.

Co-opted bodies will include the local authority and police. There will be a minimum of three Directors on the Board, representing the businesses with responsibility for managing the delivery of the BID programme. The BID Company may contract out the administration and financial management of its affairs to an external organisation.
