Blackburn EDZ BID Structure & Management

The BID will take the form of a company limited by guarantee. It will develop further, the partnership of local businesses within the Blackburn Economic Development Zone. Resident businesses in the BID area will be invited to put forward a representative to become a director of the BID Company. It is recommended that 2 representatives are secured from each Business Park to ensure uniform representation.

Co-opted bodies will include the local authority and police. There will be a minimum of three Directors on the Board, representing the businesses with responsibility for managing the delivery of the BID programme. The BID Company may contract out the administration and financial management of its affairs to an external organisation.
