Crime Updates
The BID will work with Lancashire Constabulary to provide regular email updates to businesses regarding incidents, potential crime or security threats.
Unless a co-ordinated approach to tackling crime is maintained and developed theft and other crimes will continue to affect the image of the park among customers and other visitors; values of properties and rental values, as well as potentially leading to increased insurance premiums for all businesses on the park.
Benefits will include:
- A deterrent against theft, arson, vandalism, damage to property and fly tipping.
- A source of ‘live’ intelligence for the Police.
- Improved detection rates.
- Improved safety for staff and customers.
